Item #101990 $5,958 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
We worked with her online to incorporate all of the elements she wanted into one beautiful piece. And thanks to the high-tech 3D imaging technology we use for all custom pieces, we could show her exactly how her ring would look and get her approval before placing the order into production.
Three-stone Setting
The main setting in this ring includes three stones, with a 1.29 carat marquise shaped, brilliant cut diamond at the center. This stunning stone is held securely by six platinum prongs, and the nature of the setting allows the brilliance of the stone to really shine through from every angle. Diamond Engagement Rings
The pear-shaped peridots on either side of the center diamond are also prong-set, although the third prong at the tip is specially-shaped to accommodate the contours of the stone as well as the flow of the piece. These gems exhibit a lovely greenish-gold color that contrasts nicely with the sparkling white of the diamond and also goes well with the yellow gold used in the filigree.
Custom Filigree and Engraving
The split shank design of this ring leaves an open space on each side of the band, and that is filled with a beautiful, organic yellow gold filigree design. Filigree like this is created by our expert artisans onsite in our Bellevue, WA location, and that allows us to replicate many different types of designs and patterns.
The same is true of the hand engraving that covers the majority of the lower part of the shank. The inclusion of the these types of details help give the ring a wonderful vintage flair, and they also provide a great opportunity for you to add a design of personal significance to the piece as this client did.
Hidden Touches
Another way to increase the personal significance of a custom piece of jewelry is to include some hidden touches that only you and your partner will know about. For instance, this ring has a ruby on one side of the lower portion of the shank and a blue diamond on the other. Both of these stones had special significance for the clients, but they won’t be seen naturally through regular wear.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
