These gorgeous stud earrings feature round blue sapphires prong set in white gold. Blue Sapphire Centers
The stones at the center of this set are two round blue sapphires that combined total 1.20 carats. They’re each prong set in 14k white gold, with the tips of the prongs generating just enough contrast when the earrings are worn. The rich blue of the stone dominates the design, and the openness of the simple baskets behind the sapphires ensures that plenty of light can reach them from all sides. Earrings
Custom Fine Jewelry
These earrings can be customized on their own by making any number of small modifications. For instance, you could switch to a different color sapphire, or even a completely different type of gemstone, and that’s a particularly good choice if you’re trying to match an existing piece of jewelry. Using another metal such as rose or yellow gold would add another dimension to the design as well. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
