This designer is known for incorporating traditional materials in new and interesting ways, pushing the boundaries of conventional jewelry making to produce unique and dazzling pieces like these. This set, for instance, includes some very conventional elements when it comes to fine jewelry, but the way they come together produces an organic and contemporary design that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.
Carved Pearls
The freshwater pearls in this set are each 10.5mm in diameter, and that impressive size makes them perfect for carving so elaborately. While they’re still unmistakably pearls, the deep grooves arranged in an organic pattern all the way around them make them clearly resemble roses. This is a feature that’s shared by the pearl used in the matching pendant, and it creates an unmistakably floral feel for the set. Earrings
Diamond Accents
At the center of each rose, a small round diamond is prong set in 14k yellow gold. The two stones together combine to total 0.05 carats, and their brilliant white sparkle shines through thanks to the contrast with the surrounding metal. This metal also contrasts wonderfully with the soft white surface of the pearl, producing a layered effect and helping to enhance the floral overtones of the design.
The way the gold is inlayed into the pearl, covering an indentation in the front face, cements the organic sensibility as well. On the other hand, the use of the bright cut setting style for the diamonds is another touch that brings a hint of classical charm to the set.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
