Design Your Own Earrings
Center Aquamarines
At the center of these earrings are large cushion cut aquamarines that together total 4.06 carats. They’re each prong set and they’re oriented with their rounded corners at the compass positions, adding a dynamic twist to the overall design. This placement of the center stones is what gives the earrings their overall shape, and it allows them to bring a nice balance to the set.
Diamond Halos and Earring Design
A modified halo of bright cut set diamonds surrounds each of the aquamarines, and its outer margin echoes the outline of the center stone, while its inner margin is scalloped. This creates eight sections for each halo, and the diamonds are all set within these sections in groups of three that taper in size to properly fill the available space. Earrings
Above the top corner of the halo, a single round diamond is bezel set, and this setting connects directly to the finding, providing a nice transition from one part of the piece to another.
Filigree and Milgrain
An ornate basket encloses the backs of the main body of the earrings, and these are made up of custom scroll filigree lined with milgrain beading. The milgrain is also used to to outline the scalloped sections of the halo, providing a nice bit of vintage flair as well as a common feature to unify the various elements of the design.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
