Tanzanite Centers

The main portion of each earring is dominated by a cushion shaped checkerboard cut tanzanite that’s bezel set in 14k white gold. The two stones combined total 2 carats exactly, and they exhibit a rich yet delicate bluish-purple color that contrasts wonderfully with the silvery shine of the white gold.

Milgrain and Filigree

The top of the bezel settings surrounding the tanzanite are lined with double rows of milgrain beading, and this detail helps to reinforce the vintage themes already present in the set while also highlighting the elegant shape of the settings. Although they follow the contours of the stones for the most part, these settings curve outward in the middle of each straight side, forming points that hang at the compass positions when the earrings are worn.
