Whether you come into out Bellevue, WA showroom in person to discuss your ideas or you reach out to our team online, we’ll use the information you share with us to put together a model of your unique piece in CAD. We’ll share this with you through the online workroom we set up to manage your project, and you can provide feedback on the models in the same way. Black Tahitian Pearls
Each earring in this set centers on a black Tahitian pearl that’s about 11mm in diameter. This matching pair exhibits a soft, satiny sheen, which helps to highlight its elegant grey-black color. Tahitian pearls are a popular choice for jewelry like this because they can be larger than average, and their proportions in relation to the bodies of these earrings provide a nice balance overall for the set. Earring Design and Diamond Accents
The pearls are joined to the rest of the earrings through white gold caps adorned with small decorative beads. The caps are, in turn, joined to the front of the findings by small loops of metal that rise up from their centers. The bodies of the earrings are teardrop-shaped, and they’re composed of an outer strand that wraps around the inner surface.
Both of these sections hold diamond accents, with those on the inside pave set and those on the strand bright cut set. Their brilliant white sparkle provides the perfect counterpoint to the rich, silky sheen of the pearls, and the backs of this body section connect directly to the stud findings.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
