Earrings Description
Sapphires and Diamonds
The sapphires in this set are all princess cut and bezel set in 14k white gold. Their rich blue color contrasts wonderfully with the silvery shine of the metal, as well as with the round bright cut set diamonds that sit in groups of two on either side of them. The diamonds combine to total 0.22 carats, while the sapphires are 0.24 carats all together.
Sapphires are available in a wide range of colors, and that gives you the ability to introduce a shade to represent a favorite color or your partner’s eye color, for example. This type of personalization involves relatively straightforward substitutions, but it can bring a great deal of meaning along with a significant change in the appearance of the piece.
Milgrain Beading and Metal Options
Both the bezel settings of the sapphires in this set and the sections of bright cut set diamonds are framed by double rows of milgrain beading. This brings a bit of vintage flair to the set, and it also helps to emphasize the clean lines of the design. If you’d like to take the vintage style a bit farther, you may consider switching to rose gold for the metal, or you could take things in a more contemporary direction by removing the milgrain all together. Along those same lines, using princess cut diamonds rather than round would give things a more modern feel, or you could experiment with all round stones to see if you prefer that look. Regardless of the specific changes you’d like to make to this design, our experts will work closely with you throughout the process. We can discuss your ideas in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom, or you can reach out to us online, and we’ll modify our models of your unique piece as many times as you’d like to ensure every detail is just as you want it to be.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
