Blue Topaz
These earrings are built around two gorgeous emerald cut blue topaz, both of which are bezel set. The bezel settings follow the contours of the stones precisely, helping to highlight their clean lines and elegant angles. The edges of the settings also extend outward a bit, providing a framing effect suggestive of the halo style but without the additional gemstones that would entail. In these earrings, the blue topaz are clearly on display, and their beautiful, rich color requires no enhancement to create a truly dramatic presentation. Earrings
Customization Options
If you're interested in customizing these earrings, you may want to start by choosing a different type of metal to produce another type of color contrast with the blue stones in the center. Options along these lines include both rose and yellow gold, either of which would bring out different undertones in the gems while adding some classical warmth at the same time. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
