Blue Topaz Centers
The main body of each earring in this set is dominated by an elongated cushion cut blue topaz that's oriented to hang lengthwise down from the hoop at the top. The stones are held securely in partial bezel settings and these wrap around the narrower edges of the topaz, providing a nice contrast but with just enough metal visible. This leaves the longer sides open to light, and it also helps ensure the central place of the lovely blue sparkle of these gorgeous stones. Combined, the two topaz in this set total 2.00 carats. Earring Design and Metal Options
The setting of each topaz is connected to the hoop above by two intertwined small loops of metal, and this allows the topaz to dangle freely while still staying close to the hoop. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
