Blue Topaz Stud Earrings
Item #103351Earrings Description
Blue Topaz Centers
The two blue topaz in this set combine to total 2.10 carats, and they’re both bezel set. The stones are checkerboard cut and cushion shaped, which gives them a softly squared outline and intricately detailed interior thanks to the precise placements of the facets. Due to the minimalist nature of the design, the shape of the stones defines the shape of the earrings as well, and this only helps cement the central place of the topaz in the design of the set.
Filigree and Milgrain
A double row of milgrain beading runs around the margins of the bezel settings, and it also continues down onto the filigree that makes up the baskets that protect the backs of the stones. This filigree brings a delicate elegance to the design, and it can be customized in a variety of ways to allow you to integrate a personal detail into the set. Earrings
Customization Options
Whether you’d like to begin by modifying the filigree or by choosing a different type of gemstone for the centers of these earrings, our experts will help you find just the right combination of features to create the look you’re after. Using a birthstone or other significant gemstone in the design is a great way to add a personal touch to this set.
Some other possible modifications you can make include changing to a different shape of gemstone for the center, eliminating the milgrain beading, and switching to a different colored metal such as rose or yellow gold.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
