Center Sapphires
Two blue sapphires form the focus of these earrings, and the 14k white gold double prongs holding them in place serve to complement their shape perfectly. The beautiful silvery color of the metal also contrasts nicely with the deep blue of the sapphires to help intensify their glow.
Sapphires are a popular choice for use in a variety of fine jewelry, as they come in many different shades. This can allow you to include a favorite or personally significant color in your piece, and their impressive hardness, coming in at a 9 out of 10 on the Mohs scale, makes them less likely to chip or crack than softer colored gemstones.
Diamond Halo and Accents
A halo of shared prong set diamonds surrounds each of the sapphires in this set, and they bring a stunning sparkle to the design while simultaneously reinforcing the contrast between the white gold settings and the blue centers. Halos like these also serve to intensify the brilliance of the gems they surround, as they reflect additional light back up onto the larger stones.
A row of round shared prong set diamonds also extends up from the top of the drop portion of the earrings, acting as a unifying feature to help ease the transition to the post and clasp. This piece is made of white gold as well, and it curves gently outward to accommodate the contours of the earlobe, and to complement the shape of the sapphires and halo below.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
