Earrings Description

These lovely earrings feature gypsy set diamonds scattered across stylized palladium hoops with a brushed finish. They are a wonderful variation on the classic drop earring design, and you can modify them in any number of ways to put your own personal mark on them. Earring Design

The main portion of these earrings consists of a large hoop, which is thicker on the bottom than the top. This shape is somewhat reminiscent of a crescent moon, and the diamonds scattered across it help intensify the cosmic overtones of the design. The surface of this larger hoop is brushed as well, creating a nice matte surface and giving the metal a somewhat darker tone.

Looping through this hoop at the top is a much smaller and smoother ring, which connects to another, which connects to the finding, which is itself an almost perfect circe. These three are all polished to a high shine, and this contrasts nicely with the rougher, darker surface of the main hoop anchoring the design.

Diamond Accents

Each earring holds six round diamonds, and they’re scattered across the thicker bottom part of the main hoop. All of these diamonds are gypsy set, and the 12 of them combined total 0.09 carats. They add some glamour to the set, and they stand out even more thanks to the matte surface of the palladium surrounding them.

Customization Options

There are quite a few ways to begin customizing a design like this. For instance, you may want to substitute colored diamonds or sapphires in place of the white diamonds in this set. That would bring another level of contrast to the piece, and it’s a great way to work in a detail of personal significance.
