Description
These stunning pendant earrings feature tanzanite centers surrounded by a halo of diamonds, all set in beautiful white gold. They were created as a custom order for a client from Seattle, WA, and our design team worked closely with her to ensure that they came out exactly as she had envisioned them.

Tanzanite Centers
The main centerpieces of these earrings are cushion cut blue tanzanites. These types of stones can vary considerably in color, with some exhibiting a rich blue like the ones seen here, and others tending toward a more exotic violet hue.
Tanzanite has come to represent new life and new beginnings, making it an excellent choice for a gift marking any type of milestone in your relationship. And in addition to their symbolic meaning, they are also the birthstone for December.
Diamond Accents
Surrounding the tanzanites in these earrings are halos of split prong set diamonds, which serve to enhance the sparkle of the center stones. The contrasting color of the diamonds also makes the blue of the tanzanite appear that much richer, and they help to give the earrings an elegant and sophisticated feel.
Custom Jewelry
No matter what type of custom piece of jewelry you’d like us to create, our expert designers and artisans are up to the task. We can work with you on site in our Bellevue, WA showroom, or we can collaborate completely online if you don’t live in the area.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our custom pieces, and we’re able to do that in large part because of the excellent technological tools we have at our disposal. When you contact us for a custom design, one of the first steps in the process is the creation of highly detailed 3D images so you can see exactly what your finished piece will look like.
At this stage, you can tweak the design as many times as you’d like to ensure we have it just right. And if you want even more reassurance, we can create wax models for you to inspect before putting your order into production.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care
- Lifetime warrantyYour custom piece is covered against manufacturing defects.
- Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.
- Complimentary cleaningVisit us every six months for a complimentary cleaning.
Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
