Description
These exquisite drop earrings feature Tahitian pearls set in 14k white gold and accented with diamonds. They were created as a custom order for a client in Seattle, WA who saw a design that served as an inspiration for this project. In order to get the final product just right, we went through several modifications with him until he was completely satisfied with the design.

Tahitian Pearls
These earrings are really built around the two Tahitian pearls that hang at the bottom. Also known as Black Pearls, these stunning stones really include many different tones including green, blue, pink, yellow, and silver. They are a truly eye-catching addition to any piece of jewelry, and the design of these earrings serves to emphasize them nicely.
Tahitian pearls are quite rare, and they are even featured in ancient Polynesian mythology, which only helps add to their allure. In these tales, they often represent love and peace, making them a fitting choice for a gift of custom jewelry to mark many types of special life events.
Diamond Accents
The sparkle of the bright cut set diamonds included here provides a wonderful contrast to the rich hues of the pearls. However, they were sized very specifically so as not to overshadow the beauty of the pearls, which was something our client was quite concerned about. The use of diamonds in these earrings also works in another layer of meaning, as diamonds are traditionally associated with love, purity, and strength.

Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

- Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
