Diamond Studs
The two diamonds that form the centerpieces of these earrings are 1.40 carats together. They’re both round brilliant cut, and they’re framed beautifully by the four white gold prongs holding them in place. Protecting the backs of the diamonds are classic baskets, with a ring encircling the middle of the diamond and another at the bottom.
Customization Options
A design like this makes a wonderful starting point for building your own custom piece. Depending on the style and look you’re interested in, you can switch to yellow or rose gold for the setting to add some contrast, or you could use a colored sapphire in place of the diamonds. Sapphires are available in many different shades, and this gives you the opportunity to integrate a favorite color or birthstone.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
