Green Quartz Centers
The centerpieces of these earrings are two round green quartz, both of which display a checkerboard cut pattern across their front surface. The stones are each bezel set in 14k white gold, and the two of them together total 1.66 carats. Their delicate green color stands out next to the silvery shine of the surrounding metal, and the openness of the baskets behind the stones ensures that plenty of light reaches them from all sides.
The checkerboard cut brings an added sparkle and dynamism to the stones, as it creates an arrangement of square facets across the top of the stone that reflect light in alternating patterns of dark and light depending on the angle the stones are viewed from. Earrings
Milgrain and Filigree
A line of milgrain beading runs around the margin of each bezel setting, adding a hint of vintage flair to the set. The basket protecting the backs of the stones is composed of a delicate filigree in a geometric pattern, and it’s also outlined in milgrain to complete the look. Larger decorative beads fill open spaces in the filigree, introducing another textural variation and additional delicacy to the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
