Pearls and Diamonds
The two pearls that make up the focal points of this set are each 9mm in diameter, and they dominate the front of the earrings. Their soft, silky white surface contrast delicately with the warm tones of the metal they’re set in. Adding another layer to this contrast are the small round diamonds that are bright cut set in a ring around the base of the pearl setting.
The brilliant white of these diamonds brings a surprise sparkle and some glamorous flair to the design. The bright cut setting combined with the milgrain beading that lines the diamonds also adds to the classical and vintage overtones of the set. Earrings
Customization Options
There are many ways to begin customizing these earrings. For instance, you may want to choose a different color or size of pearls for the centers. You could also use a different type of metal for the setting, as either white or yellow gold would produce a different type of contrast with the pearls. Choosing colored sapphires to accent the pearls rather than diamonds is also worth considering, and you could change the setting style of the diamonds or eliminate the milgrain to change the style of the set overall.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
