Iolite Centers
Each earring in this set has as its centerpiece a large, round iolite with a rich purple color. The color of the stones contrasts beautifully with the warm tones of the 14k rose gold they’re set in, and the prongs holding the iolites meet the stones at the compass positions. This arrangement gives the centers a sense of movement that works well with the swirling design integrated into the halos.
Diamond Halos
A halo of bright cut set diamonds surrounds each iolite, and these taper to fit in the space available. While the halo itself is perfectly round and uniform in width, the lines of milgrain beading that curve through it divide its front surface into sections shaped like elongated teardrops. These add a swirling motion to the design, and they complement the custom filigree that makes up the basket behind the main body of the earrings as well.
This filigree is in the shape of infinity symbols that repeat in a line all the way around the back of the earrings. This type of detail is completed by hand by our expert artisans, and so it can be customized to reflect a symbol with special personal meaning for you as well.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
