14K Gold Custom Solitaire Engagement Ring
Item #100780 $4,435 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Solitaire Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.50 carat cushion shaped diamond, and its beautiful sparkle contrasts perfectly with the warm rose gold of the four prong setting holding it in place. Our client requested a cushion cut stone specifically, and its softly squared shape works well with the other design elements he chose to give the piece some classical flair.
Custom Hand Engraving and Filigree
The 14k rose gold shank is covered with custom hand engraving down to about the three-quarter point on both the top and fronts. Our client picked out the two patterns used from examples of other pieces he liked, and they work well together while also fitting nicely in their respective spaces. To complete the look, there is a small swirl of hand-made filigree filling the space to the sides of the main stone where the cathedral shank rises up to meet the main setting. Our expert artisans complete all of these types of custom metalwork details by hand at the end of the production process, which is what allows us to deliver such exquisite detailing and high-quality craftsmanship. It also gives you the opportunity to customize both engraving and filigree to a great degree, and this is a wonderful way to work a personal detail into your piece.
Personalizing Your Design
Of course, that is not the only way to customize a ring like this, and our team will work closely with you to make sure you have as much guidance and support as you need as you move through the custom design process. Other options include using a different type of gemstone for the center, adding accent stones along the band, and switching to a different type of metal for the ring itself.
We developed our custom design process to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the ring we make for you, which is why you can request as many revisions as necessary before giving your final approval to move things into production. The high-tech tools we have at our disposal let us complete projects 100% online as well, so even if you can’t visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, you can still come away with a piece of fine custom jewelry you will treasure forever. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
