14K Gold Princess Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #987 $12,964 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. The heads of the prongs are flat and relatively wide, with a rectangular shape on top that contrasts nicely with the perfect curves of the center stone. This design detail adds to the contemporary overtones of the design as well, and the setting is open on the sides to allow plenty of light to reach the center diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design
The lower portion of the band is flat and smooth, maintaining the same width until it’s about half-way up each side. Here it begins to divide, with a center section rising up to meet the side of the main setting, while two side pieces continue on the original curvature of the ring, passing directly below the main diamond.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Princess cut diamonds are channel set in a line up the middle section, and they’re lined with milgrain beading to produce a nice, finished look. The fronts of the ring hold round bright cut set diamonds, which are also lined with milgrain, as are the bright cut set diamonds on the faces of the prongs. A single bezel set diamond, larger than all of the other accents, sits on each ring front directly below the center, and the bezel setting itself is lined with milgrain as well. Unique Engagement Rings
The positioning of the bezel set diamond gives the design a focus and centered feel. It also helps to unite the various features included in the ring, and its brilliant sparkle stands out when the piece is viewed from the side, adding a glamorous flair while echoing the perfect lines of the stone at the top.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
