Description
This gorgeous engagement ring features an emerald cut diamond prong set in the center, with trapezoid diamonds on either side, followed by tapered baguettes, all atop a two-tone shank. It was created for a client from Renton, WA, who came to us with a clear idea of the kind of ring she wanted.

After her initial visit to our Bellevue, WA showroom, we shared CAD proofs of the piece as we proposed to make it through the online workroom we set up to manage her project. She was very happy with these, and she came into the store again to see the wax model in person before giving her final approval to move things into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 0.45 carat emerald cut diamond is held in place by four white gold prongs. These rise nearly straight up from below the main diamond, and they’re shared by the trapezoid diamonds that sit on either side of the center. Unique Engagement Rings Bellevue
Baguette and Trapezoid Accents
These trapezoid diamonds are set slightly lower than the main emerald cut, and they’re angled downward a bit to flow with the natural curvature of the band. The wider ends of these side stones rest up against the center, and so the way they taper down towards the band helps facilitate that transition as well.
Next to the trapezoid diamonds, a tapered baguette diamond is prong set on each side of the center, and these are positioned in the same way as the trapezoids with their wider end closer to the top. All of these stones are set in white gold, and that helps to create a dazzling display at the top of the ring, giving the impression of an unbroken line of diamonds. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Two-tone Band Design
Right at the end of the tapered baguette diamonds on either side of the center setting, the band switches to 14k yellow gold. This brings a stunning contrast to the ring, as well as a classical warmth that reinforces the themes already present in the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
