Diamond Center and Halo
The brilliant yellow diamond at the center of this ring is radiant cut, which gives it a squared shape with the corners trimmed off. The prongs of the main setting curve up over these corners, highlighting the lovely shape of the stone while cradling it securely.
Sitting slightly below the center diamond is a halo of French cut set diamonds that is contoured to follow the shape of the center stone. These diamonds add wonderful sparkle to the piece, and they also help increase the brilliance of the diamond they surround by reflecting additional light up onto it.
Half Moon Diamonds
Two half moon diamonds are nestled on the shank shoulders, with one one either side of the center setting. These are positioned with their flat sides up against the halo, and they’re both prong set in platinum as well. French cut set diamonds also run around the curved perimeter of these stones, acting as sort of an extension of the halo framing the entire center setting. Diamond Engagement Rings
The particular shape of the half moon accent diamond combines the straight lines of the center diamond with the graceful curves of the small round diamonds, making them a perfect complement to both. The way they’re aligned helps to ease the transition from the squared top portion of the ring to the intertwining shank below as well. Custom Engagement Rings
Criss-cross Shank
The two strands of the band of this ring curve in and out, crossing back over each other all the way around, including beneath the center setting. This spot below the yellow diamond and halo is also the only point on the band that does not include French cut set diamond accents. These line the top of the band the rest of the way around, adding a dazzling sparkle and glamorous flair to the ring.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
