Description
This elegant engagement ring features an emerald cut diamond set in the center of a contoured halo of round brilliant cut diamonds, with additional diamond accents on the split rose gold shank. It was created for a client from Federal Way, WA, who reached out to us for help designing the perfect ring before her wedding day.

Because of the short time frame she needed the project completed within, our team collaborated intensely with her, both online and over the phone, to finalize the details of the piece quickly and get it into production. Center Setting
In the center of this piece is a 1.20 carat emerald cut diamond, and it’s cradled securely by four rose gold claw prongs that wrap up around the stones cropped corners. Slightly below this gorgeous stone sits a halo of round diamonds that follows the former’s contours closely. The diamonds in this halo are set using a hybrid of split prong and bright cut settings, which creates an open look on the outer edge while also introducing some vintage flair. Band Design and Accents
Round accent diamonds are also set down the shoulders of the split shank in the same manner as those in the halo, and the inner, bright cut side of the settings are lined with milgrain beading. This placement causes the milgrain to run down the inner edge of the V shape formed by the two strands of the split shank as they curve out to meet the center setting directly below where the prongs holding the main diamond originate.
These diamond accents start at the mid-point on the band, which is a solid, polished piece below them. Not long after the diamonds begin, the shank splits, and the line of diamonds continues up along each strand until it intersects with the main setting, creating a lovely sparkle and an elegant, classy look.

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
