14k White Gold Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #102910 $4,340 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Marquise Center and Halo
A 0.97 carat marquise shaped diamond sits at the center of this ring. It’s held in place by six prongs made of 18k white gold, and it’s surrounded by a halo of round bright cut set diamonds that follows its contours precisely.
The halo style is a classic choice for an engagement ring, and there are many ways to integrate it into your design. Using a different setting style or cut of diamond for the halo can change the look and feel of the piece dramatically and help you make it more your own. You could also add some milgrian beading to frame it for a bit of vintage flair. Vintage Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
The shank splits at about the one quarter point, and the two strands move outward from there until they are a little bit below the center setting. At that point, they take a nearly ninety-degree upward turn to intersect with the bottom of the halo, helping to raise it up slightly above the rest of the band.
Bright cut set diamond accents begin just below the split, and they continue up both strands after the separation. A single accent diamond is also set in each of the small sections raising up the halo, and these add some wonderful, unexpected sparkle when the ring is viewed from the side.
The client was concerned that these last accent diamonds would cause the center setting to be raised up too much. But after coming in to view a wax model of what the piece would look like with them, she decided to keep them in after all.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
