Center Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It sits in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold, and it rises up from within the largest opening in the criss-cross shank. The many elegant curves of the shank complement the clean lines of the center diamond nicely, helping to highlight its perfectly round shape.
Infinity Symbol and Band Design
Directly below the center diamond on each ring front, a filigree infinity symbol is tucked in an opening in the shank as it passes the main setting. Including this symbol was of particular importance to the client, and it’s reflected in the band design as well. Diamond Engagement Rings
The band itself begins as a solid piece across the bottom, but a split begins less than half-way up each side. The two strands that form move out a bit and then cross back over each other, and they repeat this pattern several times on the way to the center setting. Diamond Accents
Two rows of bright cut set diamond accents begin just as the split does, and they continue, with one on each strand, all the way up and around the center setting. The way the shank surrounds the lower part of the prongs holding the center diamond positions the diamond accents almost like a halo, framing the main stone beautifully and adding a glamorous flair to the design.
