14k Yellow Gold Hand Engraved Ruby And Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #105770 $6,134 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Ruby Center
The centerpiece of the ring is a .73 carat lab grown ruby. It is cut in an antique cushion and is a true ruby red. This color provides a lovely contrast to the platinum metal and the diamond halo. The ruby is bezel set in the center, which adds an extra highlight to the stone contrast.
Outside the halo in the split shank on each side, there is a single tiny diamond set inside a platinum square frame, seemingly balanced inside the split. This element adds a geometric theme to the ring, encouraging an Art Deco vintage feel. Vintage Engagement Rings
Hand Engraving
One change from the original design was the hand engraving pattern. The client wanted to incorporate an infinity strand within the soft floral curves of classic engraving. We were able to create this custom engraving design, with one profile of the ring having one pattern and the other side having the opposite order of the pattern. The swirling engraving covers the top of the ring on both sides, surrounded by milgrain, and works its way down to merge below the split shank. Hand Engraving
Customization
There are many ways to customize this ring. You could start by setting a diamond in the center, or a different colored sapphire. An oval shape stone would look lovely, and the hand engraving pattern could be completely customized.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
