Center Setting
The diamond at the center of this ring is one carat and round brilliant cut. The partial bezel setting holding it extends in a fluid line from the wrapped platinum shank, and it follows the natural curvature of the diamond. This helps to highlight the stone’s perfect shape, and it also gives the band a gentle curve that’s reflected in the organic elements included elsewhere in the piece. Diamond Engagement Rings
Hand Engraved and Metalwork Accents
The top and fronts of the shank are covered with a flowing scroll pattern that extends down to the three-quarter point on the band. This design complements the shape of the ring nicely, and it also ties in with the ivy leaf accents that sit on either side of the main diamond. All of the engraving is lined with milgrain beading as well, which helps to intensify the vintage overtones of the ring.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
