You're welcome to stop by either our Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA showrooms to learn more about our custom design process, or start an inquiry to learn more and talk directly with a designer in a private design workroom. First, you'll work with the designer to clarify your design ideas and receive a quote. Then, we'll create CAD images, and you can request unlimited modifications. Finally, once you are 100% satisfied with the design, we will move it into production, and you will end with a completely custom, heirloom-quality ring.
Three-stone Setting
All three diamonds in this ring are baguettes, which are step cut in long rectangular slices. Many times, this cut is only associated with vintage pieces, but this ring design is decidedly contemporary. The center baguette is .53 carats, and the side diamonds equal .31 carats together. Diamond Engagement Rings
The diamonds are set close together and parallel. They are held in place by bar settings, which comprise of a fold of yellow gold on the short end of each diamond completely covering that side. The bar settings are very similar to bezel settings, but they are straight instead of round or contoured.
Customization Options
This ring can be customized in many different ways. For a more classic look, the diamonds could all be prong set instead of bar set. To add more sparkle, you could add a halo around all three stones or add diamonds down the shoulders of the band.
A more glamorous look would be achieved by adding one more baguette on each side of the design to create a five stone design, tapering down in size and most likely covering the entire width of the finger.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
