Solitaire Center
The diamond at the center of this ring is a 2.55 carat round brilliant cut stone. It's held securely in a four prong setting, which also helps to highlight its natural sparkle. Pave Setting
This ring incorporates exquisite diamond pave down the gently contoured shoulders of the shank. It is a stunning setting, and it is quite difficult to complete. Our artisans have the requisite skill and experience to execute it to perfection.
The pave adds exquisite sparkle to the piece, and it also creates a vintage look with a decidedly charming flair. Due to the nature of the setting and the number of stones involved, we recommend using platinum for any ring that incorporates the pave style, as we did in this case.
Custom Rings

Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
