It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, who was looking to reset their center diamond into a new engagement ring to pair with their anniversary band.

Solitaire Design
The shining star of this piece is the 2.73 carat round brilliant diamond in the center. The client wanted their diamond to be the focus of their wedding set, so they decided a solitaire was the best choice for that. Band Design and Customization Options
Four prongs hold the center diamond in place. They are traditional prongs but are slightly flattened out on the sides to add depth to the design. As the prongs flow down to the base on the band, they gracefully curve and blend together just before meeting the base. The ring itself is a sturdy piece; the sides are slightly rounded out, but there is a substantial amount of platinum holding the ring in place on the client's finger. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
