This lovely minimalist engagement ring features a round brilliant center diamond with a cluster of tiny diamonds on each side, all set in white gold. It was custom created for a client from Bellevue, WA, and with its melee diamond accents just under the center stone, this design is dainty, simple, and beautiful.

Starting from a sketch example, our designers put together the CAD following our standard design measurements for longevity, and the client quickly approved the design to be cast in metal and diamonds. Diamond Accents
This ring would be a solitaire if it weren't for the 6 tiny diamonds cluster set on each side of the round center diamond. The center diamond is about .84 carats in size, and the melee diamonds equal .14 carats combined. They are some of the smallest we can use in a piece, and we did this to maintain the attention on the center stone as well as a minimalist aesthetic. Diamond Engagement Rings
The accent diamonds are set in a cluster style, meaning they share prongs to visually look like they are one shape. These clusters are symmetrical and are tucked under the center stone. The diamond accents would look lovely as colored gemstones. You could do a gemstone or another significant gemstone to add extra meaning. You could also incorporate hand engraving on the polished shank for a vintage feel.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
