Custom Blue And White Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103502Engagement Ring Description
After discussing several different options relating to the direction he wanted his customizations to take, the client settled on a set of features he preferred, and we put together a CAD model based on these preferences. Although he never visited our Bellevue, WA showroom during the custom design process, the high-tech tools we have at our disposal, as well as the skills of our design team, enabled us to ensure the piece we ultimately produced was exactly what he was looking for in every way.
Blue Diamond Center and Halo
The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.92 carat cushion shaped blue diamond, and it’s held in place by four platinum prongs. The client had initially requested blue topaz for the center, but he was open to whatever gemstone would give him the best teal color, which was his girlfriend’s favorite. We found this gorgeous stone, and he loved its rich color as well as its dazzling sparkle.
This sparkle is only accentuated by the halo of round bright cut set diamonds that surrounds it. These send additional light back up onto the larger diamond in the center, and they help to highlight its elegant shape as well by following its contours exactly. Halo Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The very bottom of the band is a solid piece straight across, but it splits just as it rounds the corner and begins to move up the sides. The two strands that form here curve out and back in again at regular intervals, crossing each other several times to create an interwoven effect that brings wonderful flowing movement to the design.
Both strands are lined with bright cut set diamonds all the way up to the top, a detail which adds a glamorous sparkle while also highlighting the elegant movement of the band. As a finishing touch, a princess cut diamond is bezel set on each ring front directly below the main setting for a bit of surprise sparkle.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
