It’s a custom piece we created for a client, and we can work with you to personalize it individually or as part of a complete wedding set.

To begin the process, you can reach out to us through our website, or you can visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally. Diamond Solitaire
The only gemstone in this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond that sits in a four prong white gold setting at the top. This makes it a solitaire design, which is a traditional choice for an engagement ring. Diamonds are most commonly used in a solitaire setting like this, but sapphires are a popular alternative, and they come in many different colors, which may be worth keeping in mind as you begin the custom design process. Band Design and Custom Filigree
The band of this ring features a knife edge, giving it a soft peak that runs all the way around the ring. The band tapers as in nears the center also, coming down almost to a point before reaching the side of the main setting. Engagement Rings Seattle
On the fronts of the ring, a custom filigree fills the open spaces under the shank shoulder, as well as directly below the center setting. This filigree is made up of tight, elegant scrolls that branch out to fill the space available perfectly. This type of detail can be customized to a certain extent to include a symbol significant to you and your partner, as long as space allows, and that is an excellent way to bring even more meaning to an already special ring.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
