Custom Diamond And Hand Engraved Engagement Ring

Center Setting
The 1.60 carat diamond at the center of this ring is round brilliant cut, and it’s framed beautifully by six platinum prongs that rise up from the diamond-accented base encircling the lower portion of the stone. This setting allows the diamond to sit up above the band, helping to highlight it while still keeping it protected from the rigors of everyday wear. Diamond Engagement Rings
The strength and durability of platinum makes it a good fit for such a large center stone, and its brilliant white color is an excellent complement to the diamond as well. Unlike white gold, which needs to be regularly replated to restore this kind of silvery shine, platinum will maintain its original color over time.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The band running around the base of the main diamond is lined with round bright cut set diamonds and milgrain. Round bezel set diamonds are also tucked beneath this band on both ring fronts, with two on each side. And a round bezel set diamond sits about three quarters of the way up each side of the shank, helping to unite both sections of the tapered, unique band.
Finally, a baguette diamond is bezel set on each shank shoulder, and this brings a contrasting shape into play. This diamond is united with all of the others by the use of milgrain beading running around the perimeter, and that milgrain extends down to the hand engraved section of the shank as well.
Custom Hand Engraving
A beautiful hand-engraved wheat pattern covers the top and fronts of the gently tapered band all the way around the bottom, and it brings a wonderful vintage flair to the ring. This engraving stops at about the three-quarter point, right where the diamond accents take over, and it helps balance out the intricacy of the top half of the design. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
