This ring was custom built for a client right here in Washington State. Tired of her old jewelry, she brought a few pieces to our Bellevue store to see if we could breathe new life into them. We were able to remove the diamonds from her unwanted pieces and re-set them into this beautiful orbit ring, giving her the exciting and modern look she was searching for.
People appreciate the aesthetic of this ring for its fascinating simplicity. Without engraving or filigree, the three bands on this piece have a boldness about them that draws the eye. Combined with the pleasing placement of the seven round brilliant cut diamonds, it’s a surprisingly straightforward ring that makes a statement the equal of a far more elaborate piece. This design can be customized to use any precious metal that might suit your taste. For this project, the customer chose 14k rose gold. The strong, rose color of the gold serves to contrast the lighter shades of the diamonds, adding a bit of pop to the piece. Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

- Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
