Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102806Engagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.30 carat pear shaped diamond that’s cradled beautifully by three rose gold prongs. The contrast of the sparkling white diamond with the warmer tones of the metal really helps the gemstone stand out, as does the openness of the setting. The pear shape of the diamond also brings an asymmetry to the design that works well with the organic themes introduced elsewhere to create a truly unique look.
Leaf-style Halo
A leaf-style halo surrounds the main diamond, and its distinctive shape complements the contours of the center stone while also introducing some additional curves and peaks. The diamonds in the halo are all round and bright cut set, although they are of varying sizes depending on the amount of space available. Halo Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The cathedral shank also incorporates bright cut set diamond accents, and these are of varying sizes as well. The shoulders of the shank that rest up against the center setting are split into two leaf shapes, which each feature three diamonds. The center stone in each leaf is slightly larger than the side stones, helping to further accentuate the contours of the space.
These two leaves come together as they move away from the main setting, and this is where the lower portion of the band comes in, meeting them at a point before quickly opening up to the width it will maintain the rest of the way down. Five round bright cut set diamonds run down this piece as well, ending at about the mid-point on the band.
These side leaves in particular were a special adjustment that our client asked for. Initially, our design featured a more traditional split shank, but after looking around at more example pieces, our client requested we try to incorporate this style instead. All of the diamond accents in this ring, including those in the halo are lined with milgrain beading for a little bit of vintage flair as well. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
