Description
This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set atop a platinum shank, with shared prong set diamond accents on the band. It was created for a couple from Kirkland, WA, who already had the diamond they wanted to use, and asked us to design an engagement ring around it that would go with the wedding band they already had. They initially came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to discuss their vision for the ring and see some sample pieces. After this consultation, we created a CAD model of the design we proposed to build, and they came in to see a wax model of this version in person before giving approval to move the piece into production.
Center Diamond
The diamond at the top of this ring is 1 carat and round brilliant cut. This was a stone the clients already had, and so we built the ring to match its exact specifications. The four prongs of the setting follow the stone’s contours closely, highlighting the perfect shape of the diamond as they rise up the sides and curl over the top edge. They originate from a U shape in the top of the band that forms a bridge between the two sides of the shank, and so the only intersection with the band occurs at the base of this main setting. Diamond Accents
Each shank shoulder holds four round accent diamonds, all of which are shared prong set to eliminate nearly all metal on either side of them. These mirror the shape and sparkle of the center stone, and they match corresponding accent diamonds on the client’s existing wedding band. They also extend out a bit farther than the widest point of the band, giving the upper portion of the ring a slightly contoured shape.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
