Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102995 $4,738 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond that comes in at 1.09 carats. It was provided by the client, and so we built our models to its exact specifications. The four platinum prongs holding it in place wrap up and around the stone, flattening and coming almost to a point as they do so. This helps them blend in with the diamond, particularly from the top-down view, which was something that was important to the client.
The prongs that form the center setting rise up from a single point on the inner band, and they are encircled by another ring of metal just below the diamond’s widest point. This piece is lined with shared prong set diamonds all the way around.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band itself is narrow and straight. It features split prong set diamond accents down to the three-quarter point, and it rises up at the top to meet the center setting just below the ring of accent diamonds found there. It was very important to the client that the band be as thin and delicate-looking as possible, and so we went as far as we could without compromising the structural integrity of the piece. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle
On the inner surface, the band is engraved with a criss-cross pattern that is made to resemble the inspiration piece the client shared with us. He liked the unique texture this type of detailing provided to the interior, and we adjusted our design until it matched his vision for the piece.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
