Center Diamond
The center diamond in this ring is 0.80 carats and round brilliant cut. The tension setting holding it in place meets it on either side, giving the impression that the stone is suspended at the top of the cathedral shank. Its positioning allows as much light as possible to reach it, helping to maximize the brilliance and beauty of this dazzling gem.
Band Design
Most of the modifications the client made to his inspiration piece involved the specific shape and width of the band. He wanted to make sure it was as thin and delicate as possible while still being structurally sound, and he also requested some small adjustments to the height and angle of the main setting. We integrated his feedback into our models, and he was very pleased with the end result.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The fronts and top of the band are covered with bright cut set diamond accents three quarters of the way around, and these are all lined with milgrain beading for some extra vintage flair. The placement of the milgrain was of particular importance to the client, as was the shape of the top of the band on either side of the center diamond. Vintage Engagement Rings
A ring of metal runs around the lower portion of the diamond between the two sides of the shank as well, and this gives a nice balance to the piece while also providing a delicate frame for the center diamond when the ring is viewed straight on from the top down. It features round bright cut set diamond accents, and these are lined up precisely with the second diamond down on the main shank, just as the client requested.

Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
