Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103138 $18,126 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Emerald Cut Diamond
At the center of this ring is a 5.01 carat emerald cut diamond. It’s cradled by four talon prongs that curl up over its truncated corners to highlight the elegance of its shape. The diamond sits inline with the finger when the ring is worn, and the edges of the contoured wedding bands on either side come out just as far as its north and south margins. This gives the ring a nice sense of balance despite the large size of the stone, and the slight Euroshank design that all three bands include helps with this as well. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Split prong set diamonds run down both sides of the split shank until about the three-quarter point, and these are also present in the same position in the matching wedding rings. All together the 148 small round diamonds weigh 1.69 carats, and their dazzling sparkle makes them the perfect complement to the large, elegant stone at the top.
As a finishing touch, the base of the main setting is lined with split prong set diamonds as well. These run along both the fronts and the sides of the larger diamond, and they form a solid connection with the similar features on the band below.
Contoured Wedding Bands
Because the center diamond is so large, the split strands of the shank extend a good way out in each direction. This means that the wedding bands needed to curve out in a similar manner in order to sit flush against the engagement ring. Matching Wedding Sets
While some people prefer to have straight wedding bands even if that means there’s a space between the rings, this client chose to go with the contoured bands. She also had all three rings soldered together, which allowed her to wear them as one piece without having to worry about them becoming misaligned.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
