Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103215 $13,489 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
In the center of this ring, a 1.01 carat round brilliant cut diamond is prong set in white gold directly between the two parallel rails of the shank. It was one of the diamonds that the client provided for us to use in this piece, and it’s set as low as structurally possible at the client’s request.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
This unique band design consists of two narrow rails lined with shared prong set diamonds that run parallel to each other all the way around. They’re joined by a flat circle of metal at the bottom of the piece, and they’re also linked by a series of Xs that run up each side. Unique Engagement Rings
The Xs are shared prong set with round diamonds just like the rails, although the diamonds here are slightly smaller than those on the rails. The client provided 14 of the 78 smaller diamonds and 46 of the 78 larger diamonds, and we sourced matching stones to complete both elements of the design.
She chose the shared prong setting because she wanted to maximize the sparkle of the accent stones, and this type leaves the sides as open as possible to allow for a clear view and plenty light to reach the diamonds while also producing just the kind of delicate look she was after.
Customizing Your Piece
One quick way to adjust the character of this piece while keeping many of the elements intact would be to use a different type of setting for the diamonds. Options include split prong, bright cut set, as well as channel set, and each of these would push the ring in a dramatically different stylistic direction. You may also want to consider using a variant of the X shape found in this piece, and you could substitute colored sapphires for the larger round diamond at the top.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
