Center Setting and Halo
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.31 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s held in place by four rounded platinum prongs. Surrounding this beautiful stone is a double halo of bright cut set round diamonds that adds wonderful sparkle to the piece, and that also helps to enhance the beauty of the main diamond. Accent Stones
In addition to the halo, there are accent diamonds running down the shank shoulders, as well as lining the individual pieces that make up the sides of the basket surrounding the center stone. These are almost all round and bright cut set, with the exception of a single bezel set diamond on each of the ring fronts.
At the top of each shank shoulder, there is also a bezel set blue sapphire, the inclusion of which adds a dramatic color contrast to the piece. Its rich blue stands in opposition to the brilliant white of the diamonds and platinum that make up the rest of the piece, but its size and placement ensure that it’s clearly visible while not overpowering.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
All of the accent diamonds in this piece, including those in the halo, are lined with milgrain beading to help give the ring a bit of antique flair. The sapphires are not surrounded with milgrain, however, and this further emphasizes their unique color and placement in the piece.
The diamonds running down the shank stop about half-way down, at which point a beautiful hand-engraved scroll pattern begins. The fronts of the band are also covered with hand engraving, and this enhances the classical feel of the piece while giving it a satisfying sense of completion as well. Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
