Custom Diamond Halo And Filigree Engagement Ring

Center Diamond and Halo
At the center of this ring is a 0.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s held in place by four white gold prongs. A ring of round bright cut set diamonds surrounds this larger stone, helping to create a truly eye-catching main setting by increasing the brilliance of the main diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
The halo style is a popular one, and its use here helps lend some classical flair to the design. It also emphasizes the perfectly circular shape of the center diamond. This is complemented nicely by the smooth curves of the criss-cross shank below, and the way the halo sits at the same level as the top of the band helps keep the ring’s profile low while still maintaining a prominent positioning for the center stone.
Criss-cross Shank and Diamond Accents
The narrow, flat shank widens quickly as it moves up the sides, splitting into two strands at the three-quarter point. This is also where the rows of bright cut set accent diamonds begin, and these help highlight the movement of the strands as they bow out and then cross back over each other twice before meeting the center setting right at the edge of the halo.
These accent diamonds, just like those in the halo, are lined with milgrain beading, which reinforces the vintage themes of the design. A single round diamond is bezel set on each ring front directly below the center setting as well, and this is also lined with milgrain.
Custom Filigree
On either side of these bezel set diamonds, a looping filigree fills the space below both the halo and the top part of the shank shoulders. This is hand-crafted, and it was customized to reflect a symbol that was significant to these clients. However, because our artisans do complete this type of detail by hand, we can adjust it to reflect something of personal significance to you as well. Celtic Rings

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
