Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103157 $9,038 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Diamond and Halo
At the top of this ring sits a 1.51 carat radiant cut diamond that we removed from the client’s existing engagement ring. It’s held in place by four platinum talon prongs, and its dazzling fire is only enhanced by the halo of split prong French cut set diamonds surrounding it. The halo follows the contours of the radiant cut stone, giving it a rectangular shape with cropped corners which flows nicely into the tapering split shank below. Custom Engagement Rings Seattle
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is flat and straight most of the way around, but as it nears the top, it splits into two strands, which each meet the center halo at one angled corner. This helps transition smoothly from the large center setting to the narrower band, and it also creates the perfect space for the two trilliant diamonds that we also took from the client’s original ring.
These side diamonds are 0.27 carats together, and they’re both prong set, with one on either side of the center setting. They’re oriented to fit perfectly into the space between the two strands of the split shank, and one flat edge sits up against the side of the halo. Bright cut set diamond accents run down both sides of the split shank, coming together below the trillion diamonds and continuing until they reach the mid-point on the band. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
As a finishing touch, a bridge piece connects the two shank shoulders by crossing directly below the center setting. This is also lined with small round bright cut set diamonds to provide some surprise sparkle and a beautiful connection that gives the ring a nice balance.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
