Custom Emerald And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103631Engagement Ring Description
After reviewing the information he provided, we clarified a few details with him and then produced a concept sketch. He liked the sketch but requested minor modifications, which we made. We then proceeded to the CAD portion of the process, finalizing details and getting his final approval to move things into production.
Emerald Center
The largest gemstone in this ring is a 1.99 carat pear shaped emerald with a striking green color. It’s held in place by six white gold prongs that curl up over its edges. The emerald is oriented to sit lengthwise across the band, with its point on one side and its rounded end on the other.
The client provided this stone, and so we built the ring to accommodate its dimensions and highlight its beauty. He chose it because it was his girlfriend’s birthstone, and this helped bring an even more personal element to an already special piece. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
Another element the client specifically selected when describing the type of ring he wanted us to build was the Euroshank, which features thickened corners on the bottom half of the band. This helps to balance out the large center stone by making it harder for the ring to spin on the finger when worn, and it also adds a bit of contemporary flair to the design. Engagement Rings Seattle
As a finishing touch, a line of princess cut accent diamonds are channel set down each shank shoulder. There are six of these on each side, combining to total 0.31 carats, and they bring a brilliant sparkle and truly glamorous flair to the design.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
