Custom Hammered Engagement Ring
Item #100300Engagement Ring Description
If you think you’d like to customize this piece, or even if you just want to borrow some features from it to work into your own original design, our team is here to help. We’ll work with you to determine what types of features you prefer, and we’ll integrate them into a highly-detailed CAD model of the ring we propose to build for you. You can modify this model as many times as you’d like, and only once you’re sure it’s perfect will we turn it over to our skilled artisans to begin production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond and Setting
The lone diamond in this ring is an Old European cushion cut, and it comes in at 0.85 carats. This type of cut features a smaller table and a larger cutlet than a more modern style would, and it helps to emphasize the beautiful color of the stone rather than maximizing its sparkle.
The shape of the stone is another important element of this piece, as it’s slightly squared with rounded corners. This works perfectly with the organic shape of the band, and it’s framed beautifully by the 14k yellow gold bezel setting. Diamond Engagement Rings
Hammered Band
The band of this ring is quite narrow, with the hammered finish applied to it giving it a bumpy surface reminiscent of a twig or vine. That’s what generates the organic overtones, and it helps make the band seem even more delicate and elegant that it would otherwise.
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this piece, there are many options to consider. For instance, you could switch to rose gold for the band, which would add some vintage flair while taking the organic theme even further. Or you could change the shape of the center diamond, with a round stone creating a more contemporary look, or an oval diamond to generate a decidedly antique feel.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
