Marquise Center
The marquise shaped diamond at the center of this ring is set horizontally, keeping it inline with the 14k white gold band. The four prongs holding it in place cradle it perfectly, with their placement and shape helping to highlight its elegant proportions. The unconventional arrangement of the marquise stone also helps give the ring a unique and contemporary flair, while simultaneously providing the pointed edges of the stone with some extra protection. Diamond Accents and Band Design
Pave set diamonds run along the top and fronts of this band down to the mid-point. They’re all round, and they taper in size slightly as they transition into the main setting to match the space available.
On the fronts in particular, the band rises up on a slight curve, with the two sides coming together to form the prongs cradling the middle of the center diamond. On top, the diamonds continue all the way up the sides of the prongs as well, creating a graceful yet subtle turn into the main setting.
Customization Options
If you’re interested in putting your personal mark on this piece, you may want to consider using a colored center stone to add some contrast. This could be a pink or brown diamond, or it could be a colored sapphire in a shade that holds a special meaning for you and your partner.
Of course, you could also switch to a colored metal like rose or yellow gold, and both of these would help push the design in a more vintage direction. The warm tones of these metals would contrast nicely with the sparkling diamonds, and you could experiment with different setting styles for the accent stones to help you get exactly the look you’re after.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
