Custom Marquise Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #101227 $16,252 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Three-stone Setting
The main diamond in this ring is just over two carats and marquise cut. It’s held securely in place by six platinum prongs, and the setting rises enough above the side stones to help emphasize the beauty of the center while still keeping it protected. Diamond Engagement Rings
On each side, a pear shaped diamond is prong set, which completes the three-stone setting and makes for a truly dazzling display, especially when the ring is viewed from the top. The pointed ends of the pear diamonds are oriented down the band as well, and this makes for a perfectly smooth transition into the criss-cross pattern of the split shank.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Round bright cut set diamonds run down the split shank shoulders from the spot where the center setting stops to just below the half-way mark on the band. These are framed with milgrain beading to give them a finished look and to add a bit of vintage flair to the piece.
Split Shank Design
The solid section forming the bottom of the band divides into two sections at about the three-quarter point. These two pieces then move away from each other before angling back in to meet just below the main setting. This creates a slit in the middle of the band that mirrors the shape of the marquis diamond at the top, and it also helps widen the band without making it bulky, helping to balance out the large stone at the top. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
