Custom Morganite And Pave Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102749 $6,622 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
She initially picked out a ring she liked, and then went ahead and selected a type and size for the center stone. However, after mulling it over and viewing the proofs of the custom piece we were going to make her, she decided to go with a slightly different design while still keeping the same shape and size in the center.
Center Morganite
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.62 carat oval morganite, whose lovely peach color is complemented perfectly by the four rose gold claw prongs holding it in place. The setting is very open, which was one of the major changes the client made from her original design request.
The first ring she picked out had a halo surrounding the morganite, which is a beautiful addition on its own. But she decided she wanted to go with a more modern look, and that is reflected in the design she settled on. See other gemstone options.
Diamond Accents
Although we removed the halo, the client still wanted plenty of accent diamonds to add sparkle and contrast to the piece. We accomplished this by pave setting diamonds on both of the rails that make up the lower portion of the main setting, as well as on the band itself. The diamonds on the rails face out, and so are visible from all sides, as are the diamonds on the shank. These cover both the top and the fronts of the ring, stopping about three-quarters of the way down the band.
Custom Design Process
Our custom design process is built to ensure your complete satisfaction, and we’ll revise our designs as many times as is necessary to meet your needs. You can begin by selecting a piece you’d like to customize, as this client did, or you can simply share as many details as possible about the features and styles you like, and our team will work up an original piece for you based on that information. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
