Since distance precluded him from coming into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, we collaborated with him extensively online to ensure we had all the right details in exactly the right places. To do this, we made use of our state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology to show him exactly what his ring would look like and allow him to make any adjustments he needed to before we put it into production.
Center Diamond
The diamond in the center of this ring is an oval brilliant cut stone that comes in at just over one carat. The talon prong setting holding it in place complements the shape of the stone nicely, and it’s lovely rose gold color creates a contrast that really helps the sparkling white diamond stand out. Diamond Pave
French cut pave diamonds cover most of the shank itself, which gives the ring a bit of vintage flair and also adds to the overall elegance of the piece. This type of setting involves laying the diamonds so close together as to allow little or no metal to show through. It’s a technique that takes considerable skill and experience to execute properly, which is something our professional craftsmen have in abundance.
Additional accent diamonds encircle the base of the main setting, ensuring that the ring produces a wonderful sparkle from every angle. And all of the diamonds in the piece benefit from the contrast with the 14k rose gold that makes up the shank, which serves to highlight their brilliance.
Hidden Stones
There are several ways to add special significance to your ring, and one of the things this client chose to do was to add some hidden gemstones to the design. These include an emerald that’s set down inside the basket holding the center diamond, as well as both his and her birthstones tucked on the inside of the lower portion of the band.

Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
